This c.1740 stone farmhouse near the Delaware River in New Jersey needed extensive renovations when our clients bought it. The kitchen renovations include a new stair, handcrafted cabinets to evoke a farmhouse kitchen, hand-hewn beams with integrated lighting, interior beaded board siding, and antique heart pine wide-plank floors to match the original floors of the house. We added an enclosed porch adjacent to the kitchen that serves as both a sitting room and a dining room. This room has floor-to-ceiling double hung windows, while the flagstone floor and wood board ceiling reinforce the exterior feeling of the room.
